It’s that time of the year again! A fresh start and new beginning. As most of you embark on 2019, I’ve included some of my favorite articles below on planning your ideal year.
If you’re looking for a simple framework to plan your goals: write down 3 milestones that want to happen by the end of the year. These should be memorable.
At the beginning of 2018, I wrote down: 1) get married, 2) start a new company, and 3) get shoulder surgery (from a 20-year old injury).
All three of these things happened. They’re all memorable. Keeping the list to three allows me to stay focused without getting distracted, stressed, or spread too thin.

I also get asked about my current productivity stack so here it is:
- Todoist (to-do)
- Google (email, calendar, files, podcasts)
- Notion (company/personal wiki)
- Pocket (read later)
- Calm (meditation) but also testing out WakingUp
- Habitfy (habit tracking)
- TunnelBear (VPN)
- Dashlane (password manager)
- Care/Of (vitamins)
